Although I would prefer to use a service that doesn't use add banners, such as WorldSpy, it is not possible in my area because WorldSpy doesn't have a local access #-and I live in a major city. That being said, I like the fact that with MyPoints Connect I can t least earn points redeemable towards merchandise for being subjected to their add banners. The "docking" feature is a great touch. The connection speed is quite fast and the connection is very stable. Be aware that you must click on one of the add banners at least once an hour or the service will disconnect you. The add will open in a seperate browser, so it will not interfere with the site you are viewing. The e-mail system is compatible with Outlook Express, and the setup was very easy. I called Technical Support with some test issues and found them to be very knowledgeable and friendly. The hold time was less than 1 minute. I believe MyPoints Connect provides
a service that compares very favorably to any ISP out there, free or otherwise. I liked it so much, in fact, that I cancelled my pay ISP account. I had used NetZero for over a year as a back-up ISP, but was never willing to cancel my pay ISP account because of Zero's pain in the neck banner system. MyPoints Connect's user-friendliness made tha.1 3cision a no-brainer. ****1/2

The banner to this free ISP is relatively large. The ads change every 30 sec. Because of the wide area that this ISP covers, I can use it even in the small little town I live in here in Canada. The speeds are quite fast (in Canada) even during peak hours. However, very now and then the ISP will disconnect you. I have experienced about 3 disconnections so far. You get points for referring this ISP to other ppl and shop at their partner sites. With these points, you can get spend for free stuff (or so I heard). Overall this is a pretty good free ISP. Available in Canada too!
